ABOUT DR. ANGELCHIK

I grew up near Camelback mountain in Phoenix, Arizona. I am a graduate of Phillips Andover Academy (1977), Stanford University (1981), and received my medical degree (Alpha Omega Alpha honor society) at the University of Arizona in 1985. I completed a general surgery residency at the University of Wisconsin - Madison in 1991 and subsequently completed a plastic surgery residency and a microvascular surgery research fellowship at the University of Virginia in 1994.

Among my credentials, I was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1996 and successfully completed a rigorous recertification process in 2008. I am a member in good standing of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, and a fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine & Surgery. I also am an active member of the Maricopa Medical Society and the American Cleft Palate Craniofacial Association. I was selected to be included in the publications Best Doctors in America 1996 - 1997 and Best Doctors in America 1998 -1999. I speak Spanish well and dabble in French.

My cosmetic surgery practice emphasizes breast enhancement surgery including breast augmentation, breast lifts, and breast reductions as well as body contouring procedures such as liposuction, body lifts, and tummy tucks. Surgery for facial rejuvenation (face lifts, eyelid surgery, laser resurfacing) as well as rhinoplasty are also featured.. I incorporate modalities including endoscopic techniques, ultrasonic liposuction, and other new developments in the field as these advances are demonstrated to be useful. My aesthetic goal for each patient is to assist them in selecting the right procedure, then use my experience and surgical skill to produce a nice, natural looking improvement which fits their desires, their anatomy, and their lifestyle

On the minimally invasive and non invasive side at Claro, we offer a full complement of injectable fillers like Restylane, Radiesse,  and Botox, advanced laser and IPL technology from Syneron, and state of the art skincare with a licensed aesthetician.  Because we offer a wide selection of techniques and products we can develop a unique plan for each patient to help them achieve their goals.

I am happy to be a participating surgeon, medical team leader, and was a member of the board of directors of Rotaplast (2005-2007), a charitable organization providing cleft lip and palate reconstructive surgery for medically indigent children worldwide. I also haven done one similar charitable cleft surgery mission with Physicians for Peace in 2007 and look forward to working with them again.

I live in Phoenix, Arizona with my wonderful wife Aliza. We have three sons Josh, Kai, and Jacob. Tartuffie, our long haired cat completes the current team roster.
