3/23 – Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Dr. Paul Angelchik is a Phoenix plastic surgeon who is board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is also a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Angelchik is well-trained and experienced in all forms of plastic surgery, namely breast enhancement and facial rejuvenation. He has been serving patients for over 20 years. Dr. Angelchik brings his surgical experience, expertise, and quality care to patients in and around Phoenix, Arizona.
Dear Patients & Clients,
First of all, thank you for being part of our practice. We want all of you, your families and friends to stay healthy and safe. As you know the COVID-19 situation is dynamic and changing every hour. Over the course of the last week, there have been some developments affecting the office that we want to share with you. The State of Arizona has effectively shut down elective surgery in hospitals and surgery centers at this time. Simultaneously, some of the surgery centers we use have temporarily closed. Some remain open for non-elective or emergent procedures. We hope that this is a short term situation, but do not as yet have a date for these facilities to open their schedules.
At the office we are only seeing patients in person who have medical necessity. We are not doing elective procedures or seeing routine consultations / follow ups. We ARE doing VIRTUAL CONSULTS and VIRTUAL FOLLOW UPS through our Symplast Patient App. CALL 602-375-8888 TO GET SET UP FOR A VIRTUAL VISIT. We will reschedule routine in-office visits and procedures as well as surgeries at surgicenters once we have guidance from medical and governmental authorities that this is reasonable/permissible. As soon as we have further guidance, we will share it with you.
If you have an upcoming appointment but are not feeling well, please call us at 602-375-8888 to reschedule the appointment. If you have an urgent situation that requires you to see Dr. Angelchik and are ill, please still contact us at 602-375-8888, so we can make arrangements to see you. If you have had a positive coronavirus test or have been exposed to somebody with coronavirus, please remember that virus can be shed for up to 37 days after exposure, with average shedding time of 20 days. This can happen even if you are asymptomatic / clinically recovered from the illness. Let the office know please so we can keep other patients and staff safe. Any medical information you share with us is kept confidential by law.
