BLEPHAROPLASTY

The operation is done on an outpatient basis under sedation and local or general anesthesia.

The incisions are made where the natural crease should be in the upper lids and below the lash line in the lower lids. Excess fat and skin are removed.

If only excess fat is present in the lower lids, it may be removed through an incision inside the lower lids with no external incision or scar (transconjunctival blepharoplasty).

Fees listed here cover: Dr. Angelchik, surgical facility, anesthesiologist, special supplies such as pain pumps (abdominoplasty) or implants (for breast augmentation), and after care garments. All procedures are performed at fully accredited hospital or ambulatory surgery facilities. The facility fees quoted here are for the least expensive facility with necessary surgical instrumentation and/or aftercare capabilities (for overnight stays). Fees vary from facility to facility and not all facilities are included here. Many procedures which Dr. Angelchik performs are not listed in this limited schedule.

Fees are subject to change without notice. Written surgeon's fee schedules provided in the office at the time of consultation are good for a period of 6 months. We have no control over facility or anesthesia fees, and changes in these costs may occur periodically.

Fees listed here DO NOT INCLUDE: post operative medications, dressing supplies, and any other costs which may arise incidental to surgery, such as revisionary surgery should this be warranted; however as a general rule Dr. Angelchik does not charge a surgeon's fee for any revisions done in the first twelve months after surgery. Other costs may apply. Specific office policy regarding costs of revisionary surgery will be provided at the time of your office consultation.
