Botox

Botox® is a unique concept in treating facial wrinkles. The most popular areas for Botox® are the forehead, between the eyes (" frown lines"), and around the outside of the eyes ("crows feet" or "laugh lines"). Areas in the lower face and neck may also respond to Botox®. Once the resting tone of the treated muscles are weakened, the pull of the muscles relaxes and the overlying skin flattens. This approach is different than the other local treatments for the aging face. Silicone, Collagen, Autologous Fat Transfer, Alloderm, Softform, etc. all work by filling in wrinkles or depressions. These fillers are frequently not as effective as Botox® in treating wrinkles in the upper third of the face. By physiologically weakening the muscles, wrinkles are lessened naturally. The Botox® Procedure is conducted in Doctor Angelchik's Office.

| **The number of injections and quantity at each injection site will vary slightly from patient to patient, so the price will depend on how much the patient uses at a given treatment. Dr. Angelchik does not have “per syringe” pricing or “per area” pricing because he individualizes the treatment for each of his patients, giving them simply what they need, not a predetermined amount. On average, we find that patients in our practice generally use between 25-60 units or $300-$720 worth of Botox. | |

Financial Policies Disclosure Statement
Fees are subject to change without notice. Written surgeon's fee schedules provided in the office at the time of consultation are good for a period of 6 months. We have no control over facility or anesthesia fees, and changes in these costs may occur periodically.
Fees listed here DO NOT INCLUDE: post operative medications, dressing supplies, and any other costs which may arise incidental to surgery, such as revisionary surgery should this be warranted; however as a general rule Dr. Angelchik does not charge a surgeon's fee for any revisions done in the first twelve months after surgery. Other costs may apply. Specific office policy regarding costs of revisionary surgery will be provided at the time of your office consultation.
