How Long Does BOTOX® Last?

Glendale-area residents who want to achieve a tighter, younger-looking face and eliminate the signs of wear and aging will likely find BOTOX® an excellent solution. Dr. Paul Angelchik has years of experience with the BOTOX procedure and can use it to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.

While every patient is unique, most people require BOTOX injections every three-to-six months.

BOTOX works by paralyzing the muscles that cause wrinkles. If they can’t contract, they can’t wrinkle. Over time that paralytic dynamic will fade and the muscles in your face will once again begin to contract.

In no circumstances should you get a BOTOX injection in the same treatment area within three months. Some patients have been known to go six months between shots before the effects begin to wear off.

Dr. Angelchik will tell you exactly what you can expect after your BOTOX injection and when you can reasonably expect to return to our offices for another shot. We’ll monitor your progress to determine if another injection is right for you.

If you live in the Glendale, Arizona area and you want to learn more about how BOTOX works, please contact Paul Angelchik, MD today.
