Short Scar Facelift
If you are looking to correct the signs of aging in your mid-facial region, then you might be an excellent candidate for a short car facelift. Also called a minimal access cranial suspension (MACS) lift, the procedure will deliver exceptional results that are very natural looking. The short scar facelift is a much less extensive procedure than a traditional facelift. Your skin will not have to be separated from the underlying muscle and tissue layers, and the procedure uses a much smaller incision that will not go behind the ear. As a result, your scars will be much less detectable to others once they heal. Phoenix plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Angelchik will make a tiny incision in front of your ear. He will then tighten the muscle and tissue layers, repositioning them to provide a more youthful appearance. Finally, sagging skin will be tightened. Your procedure will take between 2 ½ and 3 ½ hours to complete. Recovery time is much shorter than with a traditional facelift, lasting approximately one to three weeks. Dr. Angelchik will give you very detailed instructions to follow to ensure proper healing.
