Renuvion Treatment
Renuvion is known as the “surgery-free” facelift and utilizes a helium plasma ion beam and radiofrequency energy. This technology “vaporizes” the outer layer of skin and removes sun damage and discoloration. It stimulates collagen production and leaves skin looking tighter and refreshed. Renuvion can be used to treat different conditions and can be combined with other procedures. It can be can also be used internally in combination with liposuction or by itself to tighten loose skin. In this procedure, the Renuvion probe is passed under the skin to tighten the connective tissue fibers connecting the skin to the underlying muscle. This in effect “shrink-wraps” the skin. It is an alternative to the tummy tuck procedure in properly selected patients. And skin tightening can be done on different parts of the body such as the neck, back, thighs, arms, legs, and stomach.
Is Renuvion Right For You?
Renuvion does not require large incisions. Skin resurfacing generally takes about an hour or less. The skin tightening procedure takes 30-45 minutes per body area.
