We are pleased to help our patients anywhere, even from their couch. We are now doing virtual consultations. This way you can save a trip and still receive excellent care. Our virtual consultations are private, secured, and HIPPA compliant. So, you can feel comfortable just like coming into the office.
We want to make sure this process goes as smoothly as possible. Before your consultation, it is important to make sure that you know what your budget is so that you can speak openly about this with Dr. Angelchik. Check out our financing page to learn about the possible options.
Care Credit and Alphaeon are preferred lenders, offering 18-24 months of no-interest financing. You can apply to direct on our website under patient resources. Pre-approval confers no obligation to you, but we strongly recommend that you determine your payment method before your consultation so that we can focus on options that are reasonable and make sense for you. This will also ensure your ability to reserve your surgery date at the time of your consultation.
When you request a virtual consultation, we will reach out to help you set up the consultation. Once your consultation is set up, there are some next steps before the actual appointment. After making the appointment, you will receive an email shortly to fill out your new patient paperwork online. This involves giving information on your health history, so be sure to be thorough. We need to know any medications that you take along with any previous surgeries. This ensures that we can safely move forward in the process.
Following the email, you will also receive a text message with information about downloading our HIPAA secure app where we conduct the patient consult. Most consultations take about 30-60 minutes in total. It is important to be ready with any questions and have a way to take notes as there will be a lot of information.
Before receiving any care, it is important to know if you are a viable candidate. Some general candidacy guidelines are:
