What is Clareblend Skin System Used For?
The Clareblend Skin System treats vascular blemishes such as broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, moles, skin tags, and keratosis.
How Long Does the Treatment Take?
Most blemishes can be treated in a few seconds. Depending on the amount of blemishes to be treated, the session can last about 10-15 minutes.
Is It Painful?
Some patients experience a prickly sensation that can be mildly uncomfortable. Our team can apply a numbing agent in sensitive areas to minimize discomfort.
How is the Procedure Done?
Your skin care therapist will clean and prep the area. A sterile probe is inserted into the capillary, and two currents pass through the probe into the capillary to coagulate and block the blood flow to the capillary or blemish. This happens very quickly and you can return home after treatment.
What is the Aftercare?
Post-treatment care is critical for success. For 24 hours after treatment, you should avoid any activity that increases the skin’s blood flow. This means you should not stretch the skin at the treatment site, sunbathe, exercise, or use a sauna. If the treatment area is on the leg, you may need to wear compression stockings or ace bandages and stay off your feet as much as possible for a couple days.
