Whatever your facial concerns, Restylane® has an injectable option to refine your look and rejuvenate your profile. Dermal fillers are an increasingly-popular option because of their great results without downtime or incisions, and can effectively add volume and shape where you need it.
Restylane is a family of dermal fillers made from hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural complex sugar molecule occurring naturally in the body. As we age, our skin produces less HA, collagen, and elastin. Injection of HA helps to restore volume and smoothness to skin for the lifetime of the filler. Restylane injections can help restore volume to skin creases and folds, as well as augment the shape of other areas like the lips, cheeks, brows, or tear troughs. During a consultation in the Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Glendale, AZ area, Dr. Angelchik can recommend the right Restylane injectable for you and your concerns.
Patients looking for natural-looking improvement of wrinkles, folds, and volume deficiencies without surgery can greatly benefit from Restylane injections. However, it’s important to discuss any allergies or reactions, specifically to lidocaine, during your consultation. You should also be sure to discuss with Dr. Angelchik your goals and expectations for Restylane in order to determine whether they are achievable with non-surgical treatments.
There are many different Restylane options that treat specific areas of the face. Each injectable has a specific, cross-linked formulation that works best in its respective location. These locations include:
Cheeks
Restylane Lyft is specifically-tailored to augment and shape the cheeks using a deep injection and resilient formulation. This can add definition to your profile and rejuvenate lost volume.
Folds and Lines
Restylane, Restylane Refyne, Restylane Defyne, and Restylane Lyft are all FDA-approved to fill in lost volume around the mouth and nose, which are commonly called nasolabial lines or marionette lines. Each injectable offers varying extensiveness, so Dr. Angelchik can recommend the right one for you.
Lips
Restylane and Restylane Silk are both indicated for adding volume and fullness to the lips, as well as filling in fine, ‘lipstick’ lines. This can provide a subtle boost that still allows for natural movement and expression.
This was the first time I have ever had injectables, and the idea of having needles in my face was frightening, but Dr. A and staff set my mind at ease and the actual procedure was almost completely painless. Read More >
Although most Restylane injectables contain lidocaine for additional comfort during injection, most patients benefit from a topical anesthetic. Restylane treatments can be administered in a fifteen-minute session at our office by Dr. Angelchik. Once you’re comfortable, the product is carefully injected in to the treatment area using multiple small injections to ensure that the product is correctly distributed. There’s no downtime associated with Restylane treatments, so you can return to your regular schedule immediately, although you might experience some minor bruising or swelling.
During your consultation, Dr. Angelchik can recommend a treatment package of non-invasive options to further refine your results. These might include professional skincare treatments or other injectables to reduce the appearance of lines or wrinkles. Each Restylane option has a different lifetime when it comes to results, so Dr. Angelchik can give you the best idea of when to opt for re-treatment.
Restylane injectables can be a great option to refine your look and your features with quick and easy treatments.
