What is RHA Collection?

RHA Collection Fillers

RHA Collection dermal fillers are a line of three hyaluronic acid fillers intended to be more adaptable and long-lasting. RHA stands for “resilient hyaluronic acid.” These fillers include a specialized formula which uses a gentle manufacturing process and few chemical modifications. This means that the hyaluronic acid used in RHA Collection products is more similar to natural hyaluronic acid in your skin.

Who is a Candidate for RHA Collection Fillers?

RHA Collection fillers are a good option for many patients who see wrinkles, fine lines, or volume loss. They can be used for either dynamic lines through the midface area or stagnant facial wrinkles. RHA Collections’ long-lasting and resilient formula makes it a good option for lines like nasolabial folds, glabella wrinkles, or perioral wrinkles, as the product moves naturally as you speak and express yourself. The products are also suitable for stagnant wrinkles, or those that appear due to collagen loss over time and are visible when the face is at rest. There are three RHA Collection fillers available to treat mild, moderate, or severe facial wrinkles and lines.

Before your injections, you should disclose any allergies or medical conditions with Dr. Angelchik. Most patients are good candidates for RHA Collection injectables, but patient safety is the highest priority.

What are My RHA Collection Options?

RHA Collection fillers are intended to replace the natural hyaluronic acid within the skin for a plump, youthful, and smooth appearance. The injectables can be used for the following purposes.

Wrinkles and Fine Lines

RHA 2 treats moderate dynamic wrinkles or fine lines near the mouth. This includes nasolabial folds, also known as laugh or smile lines, and perioral wrinkles, also known as smoker’s lines.

RHA 3 treats moderate to severe wrinkles or folds in the mouth and nose area, such as deeper nasolabial folds.

RHA 4 treats severe wrinkles and folds near the nose or mouth.

Volume Loss

Volume loss can occur as a sign of aging, especially in the cheek area. RHA 4 is designed to replace this lost volume for a youthful look.

Lip Augmentation

RHA Collection fillers can restore lost volume or add fullness to the lips while maintaining a natural look.

What Happens During RHA Collection Treatment?

RHA Collection injections can be completed quickly through a simple procedure. First, the skin will be thoroughly cleansed. As needed, a topical anesthetic can be applied to maintain comfort. Dr. Angelchik will then complete the injections using a small needle or a fine blunt cannula, which causes less bruising. RHA Collection injections do not require prolonged downtime, meaning you can return to your normal routine the day after injection.

How Can I Maintain My Results?

RHA fillers are long-lasting compared to other options. The fillers are designed to last up to a year and a half for most patients. Results will vary. When your filler begins to subside, you can receive maintenance injections. During your consultation, Dr. Angelchik can determine a long-term treatment plan to keep up your results. This can include maintenance injections as well as complementary non-surgical treatments and effective skin care to manage signs of aging.
